I can assure you that the staff of Coral Princess is extremely professional and knowledgeable about Bermuda and the two shipwrecks that you snorkelled. Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to get much feedback on your experience based on your review. Thanks for taking the time to provide us with a review on the shipwreck snorkel tour you took on 9 July.
DOWN IN BERMUDA SHIPWRECK ISLAND FREE
I hope this clears up some confusion - if you would like to reach out with clarification that you were in fact with our company and what tour you were on, please feel free to contact We look forward to hearing from you! All of our employees are adults and all are trained and capable of communicating extensive and correct information about the island.

I can guarantee, however, that if you were on any tour with our company you were at a spot with coral and fish over which to snorkel.Īdditionally, although there is nothing wrong with hiring 'high school kids', we do not currently have anyone still in high school working for us - again, it's entirely possible you don't have the correct company. We would never take a tour to a place with no coral reef, as that would completely defeat the purpose of snorkelling! Occassionally conditions force a captain to take a tour to a more sheltered location than is originally intended - however, without knowing what tour you were on it is impossible for me to verify this. I will however address your two main issues as they are fairly uniform across our company. I think it may be possible that you have the wrong company or at least the wrong tour for this review, which of course makes it difficult for us to respond in any meaningful way to your complaints. Thanks for your review - however, I cannot verify that you were on one of our tours, especially given the fact that our Shipwreck Snorkel tour is not done on a catamaran, but on a glassbottom boat. Thanks again for your review, and I hope that the next time you are in Bermuda you will consider joining us on a tour that may be better suited to your expectations! We are always prepared to provide assistance to our guests, and have all done so both in choppy and flat calm conditions, as required! Although we would not have gone offshore if it were not safe, we do sometimes go offshore in conditions that may be daunting for those who are inexperienced with offshore snorkelling. With regards to the weather, unfortunately this is largely out of our control! We are fortunate in modern times to have sophisticated forecasting tools - however, the weather is still unpredictable and tricky to plan around. The concrete that you mention was part of the cargo of the Constellation.

That being said, I can assure you that the wheel you saw was indeed a piece of the wreck and was actually the paddlewheel of the Montana, and that there was other interesting wreckage immediately around the paddlewheel, including her distinctive boilers. For those inexperienced with shipwrecks, it can be a bit of a surprise to see what natural wrecks look like underwater. We are sorry that you did not find the site to your liking. Thanks for taking the time to write us a review, and we are so glad you had a great experience with our staff! As you can see from other reviews, the shipwreck snorkel is one of our best rated tours and generally extremely popular.
